Dr. Justine Grosso earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the American Psychological Association-accredited doctoral program at Baylor University and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University Medical Center Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Grosso provides a warm and accepting therapeutic environment where she collaborates with clients to empower themselves and cultivate change toward a meaningful life. She has experience deliverying therapy services to adults in outpatient, academic medical center, and college counseling settings. Dr. Grosso specializes in helping individuals struggling with anxiety and overalayzing, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and disconnection from personal/professional goals and values.

In addition, from advanced fellowship training at Duke, Dr. Grosso has expertise working with clients with peri- or postpartum depression/anxiety, obsessive-complusive disorder, trauma, and difficulties with assertiveness.

Dr. Grosso takes an integrative approach specifically tailored to individual client needs, with an emphasis on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and relational approaches. She also has a passion for mindfulness and yoga and she infuses these practices into her therapy sessions and her personal life. Dr. Grosso is a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and committed to lifelong professional and personal learning to provide the highest quality of services to her clients.
