Dr. Yoch received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (1979).
At this time, Dr. Yoch is not accepting new psychotherapy clients, though she continues to consult with various social service departments.
Dr. Yoch has over 30 years of experience as a licensed psychologist working with a diverse client population. She creates a supportive atmosphere for growth and healing through a collaborative effort to find solutions to current problems and insights into past issues. She actively engages gay and straight clients so they improve their self-awareness, find new perspectives, and utilize their own strengths in a dynamic process of change.
Dr. Yoch's particular interests including working with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, and loss, particularly through divorce. She specializes in treating adults who are faced with career-related concerns, such as job loss and dealing with stressors in the workplace, as well as issues arising from infertility and adoption. She also performs psychological evaluations with adults and adolescents and offers supervision and consultation services to several local social service agencies and to other mental health providers.
